I am a furniture designer and draughtsman based in Nottingham, England.
Working with building architects, project coordinators and private clients, I develop initial furniture design concepts into working product designs. Producing 3D models for presentation including detailed technical drawings prior to manufacture through to facilitating full FF&E design packages.
My passion to work in the furniture industry began at Sheffield Hallam University studying Product Design: Furniture. Here I gained a First Class Honours degree and awarded Winner of the Product Design: Furniture Award in an internal degree exhibition for HELIXI. With its success granting recognition at the New Designers Show at London's Business Design Centre in 2014. Upon leaving education I set a personal target to follow in my grandfather's footsteps to immerse myself the industry and become a highly skilled design technician and design project manager as he was.
I have developed a keen interest in sustainability through my extensive research at university, with a particular focus on longevity which I implement not only to my work, but across all aspects to my lifestyle. As part of my role at Three Rooms Design, I source FSC certified material in the design and production of live contracts. Examples of projects I have been involved in include high end hotel apartments, counters, reception desks, student accommodation, office interiors and bespoke cabinetry.
